Our product series are small-sized commercial ship solutions using multi-stage filtration and reverse osmosis methodology in order to remove 90-99% of contaminants and give to crew members great quality of drinking and cooking fresh water onboard.

We’d say not just good but even better than bottled water. We use  onboarad the ship the same technology (reverse osmosis), like major bottling plants use to filter water. Our onboard systems purify ship water daily and give a natural fresh and healthy touch, compared to the still bottled water which has been sitting in plastic for months. Our onboard drinking water accumulates a refreshing taste with a touch of minerals. It has nothing to do with the flat taste of distilled or bottled water.

Our 7-stage filtration system gives onboard stable and complete reverse osmosis filtration, delivering crystal-clear drinking and cooking water onboard the ship.

Our eco-friendly systems protect the environment too from plastic waste, as the shipping company will never purchase bottled water again.

Reverse osmosis filters the water by squeezing it through a membrane which is rated at 0.0001 micron (equaling to 0.00000004 inch) by water pressure. It is recognized as one of the best available technologies for producing drinking water of best quality . It is also the same method used by many bottled water companies to make safe and water of great taste.

We use only filter components of premium quality, holding great dirt holding capacity and reliability.

No other drinking water treatment system can offer as much protection and reliability.

 Other water filter systems use mostly a single activated carbon cartridge to treat the water. These are much less effective, with a much bigger pore size on these filter media, overall speaking 0.5-10 micron. They filter out sediments, elements and coarse particles only up to their micron rating. Anything finer and of most dissolved substances cannot be filtered out.

The filtered water produced onboard is thus far less clean and safe compared to the reverse osmosis filtration methodology.

  1. Temperature: the ideal temperature for reverse osmosis water is 24°C. 4°C water will cause the production of reverse osmosis water to fall to half of that at 24°C. The suggested maximum water temperature is 29°C.
  2. Pressure: the higher the water pressure the better the quality and quantity of produced onboard water. Water pressure of 60 psi is ideal.
  3. Membrane: our PSS Systems use the best/finest TFC membranes in the world (Thin Film Composite), the DOW Chemical membranes, combining the best features.
  4. (TDS) Total Dissolved Solids: the bigger the amount in water’s dissolved contaminants the smaller the water quantity produced. A high level of TDS can be over passed by using extra water pressure.

When water production is evenly reduced (caused by layering of minerals and salts on the surface of the membrane), this is one signal. Another signal is an even drop in the water’s produced quality. Onboard users may notice a higher white scum in the inside of the water’s pan being boiled or another taste, maybe meaning that the reverse osmosis membrane is dismantled and needs to be replaced.

The onboard system (excluding filters) is coming under 2 years warranty for parts. In the first 2 years any defective parts will be replaced free of charge (excluding shipping).

Οur onboars ship systems embed standard extra protection of UV light in the last stage before the faucet. This stage basically eliminates viruses, bacteria and other micro-organisms by directly interfering with the organisms’ RNA and DNA reproductive cycles
